European Federation

The United Federation of Europe was created in 2031 during WWIII to unite the European front and restore stability to the collapsing governments of the European nations. It was made up of many of the members of the Federation's predecessor, the European Union. The newly formed federation gave large amounts of autonomy to the formerly independent nations, now known as the states of Europe, to prevent a civil war, and assumed control over most of the state's military, economy, and government. The new European Armed Forces (EAF) was able to get the disorganized European front into shape and launch a massive attack against Russia and Belarus, recapturing much of the occupied Baltic nations before the winter. Two years later after the treaty of Minsk, Russia surrendered to European forces.
