Avalon is home to the wood elves in my homebrew D&D world. They are the sterotypical "protect nature at all cost" kind of elves, but the influence of the Feywild has changed them to resemble elves with animalistic characteristics. Kemonomimi for those of you who are anime fans. Of course, there are a lot more animals than just cats that wood elves can take traits from. Antlers, hooves, fangs, etc.
