In my modern day D&D world, The United Arathian Federation (abbr. as UAF and commonly referred to as the Federation) is a supranational union of multiple sovereign states and political factions under a single central federal government, founded on the principles of liberty, equality, peace, justice, and progress, with the purpose of furthering the universal rights of all sapient life and its protection against the forces of the Outer Dark and the Elder Evils. Federation members exchange knowledge and resources to facilitate peaceful cooperation, scientific and magical development, exploration, and mutual defense."
