Arcadia is a land of anthropomorphic griffon and birdfolk that were colonized by Aquilonia and enslaved. Arcadia has fought for its freedom and is seen as an independent nation by nearly the entire world except Aquilonia. Their admittance into the Federation is the main reason why Aquilonia is not part of it.
